Hi, I'm Kate (she/her) I transitioned into tattooing from 10+ years as a full time woodburning artist, it’s wild how similar skin and wood are! I started my tattoo journey with hand poke and took the leap to a rotary machine in 2023, when i was fortunate enough to start working out of The Collective Tattoo Studio in Duncan until December of 2025.

As someone who is hard of hearing and finds loud environments challenging to navigate, I strive to make my work space as calm and inviting as possible. Nestled in the trees in quaint Shawnigan Lake, this space feels like a wellness destination.

I understand that this booking request form does not guarantee an appointment. I understand that I will be contacted for follow up via email within 48 hours, and will be required to send a deposit either through etransfer or through the availability section within 24 hours of agreeing to an appointment time with the artist. I acknowledge that until the deposit has been received my appointment has not been confirmed. I understand that this is a non refundable deposit that will be deducted from the total. If I need to cancel or reschedule the appointment I will do this no later than 48 hours before my appointment to avoid losing my deposit. I understand that if I make changes to my design after submitting this request and booking the appointment the cost may vary from the quote I was given. I have read and agree to the above statement.

I was tattooed by Kate and from start to finish it was an amazing experience! She was so patient in creating the perfect design for me, sent me many options after design alterations, and gave extremely good advice in person when it came down to placement and sizing. The appointment flew by and I enjoyed every minute! My tattoo is beautiful, I highly recommend.
